The best candidates are healthy, have no active infections, and understand that results are temporary, usually lasting six to twelve months

Lip filler is not recommended for anyone under 18, or for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. It may also not be suitable for people with severe allergies to filler ingredients or lidocaine, or for those with active infections such as cold sores in the area. Individuals seeking permanent or extreme changes in a single session may not be good candidates either, as the treatment is designed for safe, gradual enhancement.

Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and smoking for 24 hours before treatment. Do not take aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E, or St John’s Wort for a week before, unless advised by your doctor. Stay hydrated and eat a light meal before your appointment.
